Rescuing and caring for our donkeys does cost money. A small bale of hay can cost over £5.00, a farrier treatment £50.00, and an operation can cost several thousand pounds. We are a voluntary organisation and we have to raise all the money that our donkeys need through our own fundraising.

Our adoption scheme is our most important fundraising cause. An adoption is a suggested minimum donation from £36.00 per year, which can be done online, by phone or in person at the Sanctuary. This is a vital scheme which generates the money for vets, farriers, and of course their feed, hay, and much more.
