Daphne

Daphne arrived in April 2024 from the New Forest area. She is 23 years old. Daphne wasn’t fitting in very well with the existing donkeys she lived with, and she had begun to overeat and put on some weight. Her owners asked if she could come here and start over with some new donkey friends. She was still a little stressed when she arrived with us, and our team felt she would do better in a smaller herd, so she has joined the Extra Care herd. She is now growing in confidence, enjoying walks with our staff and lots of attention from our visitors.
